New Forest Lodge No. 319
Friendship, charity and community in Lymington
A welcoming and respected Masonic Lodge based at the Lymington Masonic Centre, with traditions rooted in history, fellowship, charity and service.
About Us
Our members come from all walks of life, united by a shared commitment to integrity, personal development and supporting those in need. We honour the customs and values passed down through generations of Freemasonry, and we're equally committed to building a vibrant, inclusive future for our Lodge.
Above all, New Forest Lodge is a place of friendship. Here, lasting relationships are formed, members support one another, and everyone is encouraged to grow in character while enjoying the fellowship Freemasonry has offered for centuries.

A Little History

Meeting on Lymington High Street
A Masonic newspaper report of the time describes a meeting of New Forest Lodge, No. 319, held at the Bugle Hotel on Lymington High Street, where a new Worshipful Master was installed.

New Forest Chapter No. 319 is formed
The Lodge sponsored the founding of New Forest Chapter No. 319, which still meets in Lymington today alongside the Lodge. Its members come from across the New Forest, and several also belong to the Lodge of Unity No. 132 in Ringwood, which first met in a Lymington pub in 1764, so for them Lymington is something of an “original home”.

The Masonic hall opens at 10 High Street
The present Masonic hall in Lymington opened in 1927 and has been the Lodge's home ever since.
Lymington Masonic Centre
The Lodge still meets at 10 High Street, the first purpose-built Masonic hall in the area. Upstairs is a uniquely decorated Temple room, and the hall also hosts community events such as art exhibitions and wedding receptions.

Charity & Community
Charitable giving and community service are at the heart of everything we do. Through fundraising, volunteering, and supporting local and national causes, we strive to make a real difference to people's lives, whether that means helping individuals, families or charitable organisations.
Proud patrons of Teddies for Loving Care
We're honoured to support Teddies for Loving Care, a Freemason-funded charity that provides teddy bears to hospital A&E departments, to comfort children who are frightened, injured or unwell.
